Launch of ACES experiment with AXTAL's USO AXIOM6060
We are very thrilled about the successful launch in April 2025 of the groundbreaking ACES (Atomic Clock Ensemble in Space) mission and we congratulate ESA, Airbus and all those involved! AXTAL is very happy and proud to be part of the mission with its ultra-stable OCXO AXIOM6060, that now contributes to the time measurement experiment on the International Space Station ISS.
Our AXIOM6060 is an ultra-low noise and high stability OCXO series designed and manufactured for classical class 1 missions and it is listed on the ESA EPPL since 2014. Very high radiation hardness and manufacturing IAW with ECSS-Q-ST-60C “Class 1” & MIL-PRF-55310 Level “S” makes it ideal for the most demanding Space missions. You will find much more information here.
